World Championship men’s cycling elite start
Northallerton is really getting noticed in the world of cycling, due to being featured in a number of international cycling events, such as 2018’s Tour de Yorkshire.
On Wednesday 25th September 2019, Northallerton will form the start of the most high profile race to ever grace our streets, as the town plays host to the UCI World Championships men’s elite individual time trial.
Steve Cowley, owner of Cowley Cycles in Zetland Street, Northallerton, said: “This is the biggest sporting event Northallerton has ever seen and we are thrilled to be hosting the World Cycling Championships in North Yorkshire’s county town.
