Herriot Hospice

Herriot Hospice Homecare is a “hospice without walls” providing care to patients in their own homes.

We operate across Hambleton and Richmondshire, North Yorkshire, and all of our charitable services are free of charge to patients.

Established in 1992 for the benefit of local people, the charity aims to help meet the needs of patients and carers affected by any life-limiting illness.

Covering an area of 1000sq miles and serving the area’s most remote rural communities, hospice care is delivered in an individual’s home by a multi-disciplinary team. The charity works in partnership with local hospitals, doctors, nurses and social services and is a part of the Community Palliative Care Team.

Herriot Hospice Homecare’s office is based in Northallerton. Our normal office hours are 9.00am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. A 24 hour answer phone is in operation which is regularly accessed outside of office hours.
