Northallerton Library Temporary closure
Northallerton library will be offering a reduced service and will require a temporary closure due to essential refurbishment later this month.
It will be will be closed from Monday, March 15, until Saturday, March 20, although customers will be able to return books at the entrance on weekdays.
The library will also be open for pre-booked essential IT use from Wednesday, March 10, until Saturday, March 13, and from Monday, March 22, until Wednesday, March 24.
The Select and Collect service will not be available between Wednesday March 10, and Wednesday, March 24, and no services will be available on Saturday, March 20.
Loan periods have been adjusted so that no borrowed items will be due for return on the days when the library is closed, and arrangements have been made to cover home library service deliveries.
County Councillor Greg White, Executive Member for Libraries, said: “This is essential refurbishment work to fit a new carpet and I would like to reassure the public that we will have the library open again as soon as possible. In the meantime we apologise to our library users for the inconvenience this may cause.”
