Local North Yorkshire Film on the Horizon.

This August, a new independent film project, By Design, will begin filming in North Yorkshire. Written by Richmond-based writer and actor Hannah, the dystopian drama explores themes of conformity, identity and quiet resistance. The production brings together an impressive team, including acclaimed Northern casting director Claire Bleasdale and award-recognised production company Broken Flames Productions, while also working with Screen Yorkshire to support local crew involvement.

With filming taking place at a stunning location in Harmby and a talented creative team behind it, By Design highlights the strength of independent filmmaking in the North.
