Market’s Welcome Return
It was smiles all round as an extended market returned to Northallerton High Street after the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Traders from all over Yorkshire received a warm welcome from customers as more much-missed stalls returned to their familiar pitches on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Food and fruit and vegetable sellers have operated as normal during the pandemic, and now they have been joined by stalls selling non-essential goods.
To maintain a safe environment for shoppers, extra space has been allocated for the market on the High Street – and social distancing guidelines are strictly enforced.
